Bring It On! The Musical
A Fabulous Broadway Show for
6th – 12th Graders and Young Adults!
Age Group: Entering Grades 6-12, Young Adults
Dates: June 11 - June 29, 2024
Detailed Schedule and Format:
- Auditions: May 17-19, 2024 (in-person auditions preferred; video auditions will be supported)
- June 11-14
- Rehearsals 3:00 - 6:00 pm (choreography for all performers, vocal work for ensemble and lead performers)
- Week of June 17-21, Week of June 24-29
- Every day camp experience; 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday-Friday for two weeks, plus a final Saturday performance
Focus: Performance Development – All performers will audition for placement. All enrolled performers will be cast. (Audition information will be sent after registration. Those enrolling after auditions will join the ensemble.)
Description: Sprinkled with sass and inspired by the hit film, Bring It On! The Musical takes audiences on a high-flying journey that is filled with the complexities of friendship, jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness. Uniting some of the freshest and most talented creative minds on Broadway, featuring music and lyrics by Pulitzer- and Tony Award-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda and other powerhouse Broadway collaborators, Bring It On! follows a group of high-performing young people who overcome their differences and come together to perform at the highest level!
Performers do not have to have previous experience in cheer, gymnastics or acrobatics to join this experience! With a colorful assortment of characters, an exciting fresh sound and explosive choreography with aerial stunts, this hilarious, universal story is sure to be everything that you hoped for and nothing like you expected. Whether you are a singer, dancer, actor, or cheerleader, we can’t wait to see you all shine in this spectacular production of Bring It On!
Final Performances: Friday, June 28 (evening) and Saturday, June 29 (matinee)

Singin’ & Dancin’ FUN for 1st – 3rd Graders
Age Group: Entering Grades 1-3
Dates: June 10-14, 2024
Focus: Vocal & Dance Development – Recreational – No audition required
Format: In-person camp experience; Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Description: Students in grades 1-3 of any skill level are invited to join us for a week of singing, dancing and lots of fun! A terrific “Friends & Family” performance will conclude the week.
Final Performance: Friday, June 14 (midday)
In-person performance at Aspire Music Academy for friends and family, with a recording provided if licensing obligations allow. (In-person attendance may be limited to a certain number of people per performer.)

Crescendos Camp

Focus: Vocal & Dance Development – Recreational – No audition required
Format: In-person camp experience; Monday-Friday, 11:00 am – 2:30 pm
Description: Students in grades 4-6 of any skill level are invited to join us for a week of singing, dancing and lots of fun! A terrific “Friends & Family” performance will conclude the week.

Summer Stock!
A "Stars on Broadway" style musical theatre revue production
Age Group: Entering Grades 4-12
Dates: July 8-19, 2024
Focus: Vocal, Dance, Acting, Auditioning Skills & Techniques – Recreational – both experienced and new performers welcome!
Format: In-person camp experience; Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm for two weeks
Description: This STARS on Broadway® style camp features singing, dancing, & acting – you get to do it all, while building your performance and audition skills. Campers will take part in a two-week camp experience focused on rehearsing and delivering a full musical revue performance based on popular Broadway shows, characters, and songs. Your family and friends will love seeing you perform on a full stage for the final performance!
Final Performance: Friday, July 19 (afternoon)
In-person performance on an auditorium stage for friends and family, with a recording provided if licensing obligations allow.

Disney's High School Musical 2 Jr.

- Every day camp experience; 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday-Friday for two weeks, plus a final Saturday performance
Focus: Vocal, Dance, Acting, & Performance – Recreational – All performers are asked to audition for proper placement. All enrolled performers will be cast. (Audition information will be sent after registration. Those enrolling after auditions will join the ensemble.)
Description: The High School Musical gang is back for an action-packed summer extravaganza as the Wildcats finish the school year and blast onto the summer scene! Rockin' songs, action-packed dance numbers and ample opportunities to highlight every performer make this a fabulous show for everyone! Jump into the pool with the Wildcats as you swim along with this crowd-pleasing, fun-filled charmer!
Final Performances: Friday, August 9 (evening) and Saturday, August 10 (matinee)

Commitment to Health and Safety

● Allow participants to choose whether or not they wear a mask. If conditions change, masks may be required.
● Provide hand sanitizer and ask that everyone clean and wash their hands as they enter the building and move from one space to another.
● Expect that you will use our recorded online resources if you are not feeling well.
