Prodigy
Born Into Royalty are pleased to announce Prodigy, an in-studio recording experience focused on creating industry-quality recordings with elite high-school performers while educating and sharpening their skills and techniques.
Prodigy is an invitation-only recording studio experience. Aspire Music Academy and Born Into Royalty recruit leading high-school vocalists for the program from among the talented young performers appearing in Aspire, STARS On Broadway, and other local productions. Given the advanced performance profile, we issue private invitations to those we view as most capable of participating and excelling in this experience. Those invited provide an audition and then the final group is selected.
A maximum of six vocalists are selected from those auditioning to take part in each instance of Prodigy. Vocalists auditioning but not selected for a Prodigy experience will be automatically under consideration for additional or subsequent experiences.
Rehearsals and recording sessions follow an intensive 8-week schedule. Performers are expected to rehearse on their own as well as in sessions with the group.
Finished commercial recordings created will be provided to participants for their private use, as well as released publicly by Aspire Music Academy and Born Into Royalty.
Health and Safety Information
This program is delivered with appropriate social distancing and health safety measures in place.
Performers singing together will be positioned in separate rooms using separate equipment, with instructors also positioned at appropriate distance or in separate rooms. All group rehearsals provide proper distancing and breaks.
Our facility at Aspire Music Academy and Born Into Royalty provides an appropriately safe environment for performing in Prodigy, with separate recording spaces all connected to our main control room.
Prodigy is a performing experience built for the advanced high-school performer!
Final recordings can be used for building your performance portfolio and profile.
Performers accepted into Prodigy pay a one-time participation fee of $395.
Tuition assistance is available for this program and for all Aspire programs.
